Hi everyone and welcome to the last video update for 2008! It’s been a great year for daytrading with so many opportunities every day, the increased volatility has provided us with plenty of intra-day movement to capitalize on and I hope you all took your fair share from the action. On to today’s video update, there wasn’t an awful lot to talk about from yesterday’s trading as we wind down for the year but even on a quieter day we still have;

December 16: FOMC Day Tactics

Today is FOMC announcement day, so please remember that it’s often wise to exercise caution until the decision at 2:15 EST is out of the way. In today’s video update we have the following for you;
- Eurostoxx 50 price action trend line break, followed by a clean 9/30 short setup.
- Euro Forex daily chart OKC example, and how to dial down to the smaller time frames for low risk entries.
- ES creeper day, very slow and dull ahead of FOMC. Why it was a weak trend day down in terms of the internals.
- See why the last 45 minutes of the trading day can often yield some of the better trading opportunities.
We have two potential market moving reports today at 08:30 EST, namely Consumer Price Index and the Housing Starts. If these two reports fail to move the market, I would advise caution ahead of the FOMC decision at 2:15 EST which is likely to provide some volatility.
